ABOUT THIS RED ROCKET RELIC STRAT FROM NUOVA VITA GUITAR WORKS
This lovingly hand reliced Strat looks like it’s been gigged for 50 years, but feels like it could gig for 50 more!
It uses a selection of quality parts with upgraded and artificially aged hardware, custom nitrocellulose refinish and heavy relic by Nuova Vita Guitar Works.
The body is taken from a 20th Anniversary Squier Stratocaster, made from lightweight and very resonant basswood.
The maple neck (with rosewood fretboard) adds tonal snap and has been slimmed and aged as if by years of heavy playing, with a delightfully smooth natural wood feel.
The hardware is all high spec with an Iron Gear Smokestack bridge (11k output) combined with Fat City Strat pickups in the middle and neck positions (hand wound in Wales).
The Wilkinson Big Block Bridge provides great sustain and tuning stability, plus the electrics have been upgraded with Alpha 250k pots, Orange Drop capacitor, and an upgraded wiring loom.
