These sweet sounding all-solid koa ukuleles are hand made in Portugal by our friends at APC! Founded by Antonio Pinto Carvalho in 1976, APC have made a name for themselves across Europe but are not a common sight in the UK… Yet! We hope to change that with our new selection of incredible hand made instruments at very reasonable prices.

The T ROS is a traditionally styled tenor ukulele which uses solid koa (acacia) for the body with a gorgeous bookmatched grain giving an attractive stripe to the top. The soundhole is beautifully decorated with an attractive geometric pattern and concentric circle decoration. The silky smooth open pore satin finish feels great under the hands and allows the wood to resonate freely for exquisite tone. The mahogany neck has a slim D profile and easy playing action. The fretboard is made from hard wearing African Blackwood. The hardware choices are also top drawer, with reliable and hard wearing gold open-geared tuners for precise tuning and Aquila Nylgut strings.
