About this gorgeous, versatile electro-acoustic from Turner
Turner Guitars’ 44CE features a solid spruce top paired with ovangkol back and sides. Ovangkol, whilst tonally similar sounding to rosewood, offers a slightly ‘fuller’ midrange voice and beautiful stripy grain look! The solid spruce top adds clarity to the tone and gives this gorgeous instrument a beautifully full sound.
Thanks to its grand auditorium style body, this guitar feels comfortably proportioned for players of all sizes, but also has a nicely balanced tone with plenty of lower mids as well as crystal clear treble.
This is very versatile and can tackle everything from flashy fingerstyle to strumming along at your local jam session! The tone is enhanced by the bone nut and saddle, and solid rosewood bridge which combine for great tone transfer and sustain.
From their custom hand scalloped bracing to stylish body binding and concentric-ring rosettes, it’s clear that the Turner 40 series are quality instruments. They look gorgeous with their attractive ovangkol grain, offset pearloid fret markers, satin finished back and stylish gloss top. They also sound fantastic when amplified, with a state-of-the-art pickup system in the form of the Fishman Isys+ under saddle pickup and preamp (with built-in tuner).
Fingerpickers and players with wider fingers will also find this easy to play thanks to the slightly wider than average 45mm nut, which provides a little more space between each string than on most acoustic and electro-acoustic guitars. This is great for accurate finger placement and picking!
If you’re looking for a warm sounding, loud, clear and extremely versatile electro-acoustic guitar which offers unparalleled tone and looks for its price point then the Turner 44CE is perfect for you!
