The Transparent design of this pedal keeps your original guitar and amp tone intact while adding grit &/or volume. Unlike a Tube Screamer for example, which adds a mid-hump and inflicts it’s own tone upon your sound.

The Soul Food uses internal boosted power rails to increase voltage, giving you more “headroom” (cleaner signal at higher volumes) and better note definition.

It can also function as a pure clean boost, a light “bluesy” gain, or a full classic rock overdrive.

Pair this pedal with a valve amplifier for stunning dynamics and tonal texture!
