ABOUT THIS TOKAI TJE65 ELECTRO-ACOUSTIC GUITAR

The TJE65 is Tokai’s 1980’s answer to the Gibson J160E made famous by the Beatles!

This Tokai is a slope-shoulder electro-acoustic with a punchy spruce top and resonant mahogany back/sides.

It delivers a rich, well-balanced acoustic tone with focused low end, warm mids, and clear projection suitable for both aggressive strumming and delicate fingerstyle.

Complete with a U shape neck profile, and iconic single coil pick up positioned at the end of the fingerboard.

The TJE65 effortlessly translates its vibrant unplugged voice into any amplifier or PA, making it a reliable, high-performing companion for the stage, studio, or home.
Professionally setup/serviced with fresh strings!

At some point in this guitars history it suffered a knock to its underside which has been carefully technician inspected to confirm this is not structural damage, will not spread, and does not affect tone/resonance.
The mark has long since been covered by the JF decal, so after inspection we decided to place a fresh sticker back over it!

This guitar carries a piece of local history, featuring the iconic JF Diamond decal – made famous by local cycle builder & War Hero Jim Wilson.
The guitar was originally taken in part-exchange for one of Jim’s legendary bike frames before finding its way to us at Aurora Guitars…
